Heavy thunderstorms developed rapidly during the late morning and there are numerous storms in the metro area at 2 pm (above). Some rain reports include:
Mescal (near Vail) 1.06 during past 15 minutes
Bellota Ranch 1.02 in last hour
Tanque verde Wash 1.14 in last hour
White tail 1.61 last 3 hours
Green Mountain 1.18 last three hours
What a difference compared to last two days!
