Precipitable Water Around The Globe
The PW site at CIMSS (Univ. of Wisconsin - Madison) has several global animations on line that are quite interesting to watch. Above shows the global distribution of PW at 12 UTC this morning - wettest areas are over Central America, the west Pacific, and the Indian Ocean. The loop can be viewed at:
