Severe Thunderstorms South Of I-10
Very heavy thunderstorms have developed over higher terrain south of I-10 this afternoon. Composite radar chart above is for 2:30 pm MST. The storm near Sierra Vista has produced wind gusts to 60 mph (52 kt) along with 1/2 inch hail at the Ft. Huachuca airfield within the past few minutes. There is a very large storm just northwest of Sonoita that may also be severe. The storms are moving somewhat erratically.
