Bands of light to moderate showers have been crossing over the metro area from east to west for past few hours. This has produced rain amounts that are considerably more than what I was expecting this morning. So, our first dreary and soggy weather event of 2015 continue this late afternoon. Above is NWS TUS composite radar at about 3:15 pm MST and below is current rainfall over the west-metro sector of the Pima County ALERT network.
