Geminid Meteor Shower
Woke up at 3:00 am MST this morning and sat out in courtyard for a while, since skies were still clear over Tucson area. Even with the light pollution of the City degrading the viewing, still saw numerous meteors - about 20 between 3:00 and 4:00 am. About 1 of every 3 or 4 was very bright, so it was quite a good show. Image above shows the area of sky where the meteors emanate from - was about directly overhead here. Image below is just an example I picked off the internet.
