A BLOG ABOUT SOUTHWESTERN WEATHER, Welcome to the MadWeather Blog! We have two basic rules for this blog:
WEATHER FORECASTING & OBSERVING, AND OTHER RELATED TOPICS
(1) Debate and discussion should be civil.
(2) Because public discussion, regardless of the topic,
is not very effective if we don't know who is talking to whom,
MadWeather does not accept anonymous posts.

Winter Vistas
I grabbed these two images from Jack Hales website - link to right - at about 5:00 pm MST. Above is MacDonald Lake in Glacier National Park, northeast of Kalispell, Montana, and below shows the causeway at Big Bear Lake, east of San Bernardino, California.
Locally, light showers are developing as the next 500 mb short wave moves across Southern California and heads our way - should be a damp and dreary morning tomorrow.
