A BLOG ABOUT SOUTHWESTERN WEATHER, Welcome to the MadWeather Blog! We have two basic rules for this blog:
WEATHER FORECASTING & OBSERVING, AND OTHER RELATED TOPICS
(1) Debate and discussion should be civil.
(2) Because public discussion, regardless of the topic,
is not very effective if we don't know who is talking to whom,
MadWeather does not accept anonymous posts.

Warm And Dry For Next Week Or So
The GEFS plumes for QPF at the airport are almost completely flat-lined this morning (above), and the plumes for QPF (below) are dry and drier. Down at bottom is 00 UTC WRF-GFS forecast for total precipitation through the 17th of October, which leaves most of the Southwest totally dry - definitely not much to write about for our area, except enjoy the nice weather.
