A BLOG ABOUT SOUTHWESTERN WEATHER, Welcome to the MadWeather Blog! We have two basic rules for this blog:
WEATHER FORECASTING & OBSERVING, AND OTHER RELATED TOPICS
(1) Debate and discussion should be civil.
(2) Because public discussion, regardless of the topic,
is not very effective if we don't know who is talking to whom,
MadWeather does not accept anonymous posts.

Bit Of Wind Next Couple Of Days
Foggy commute this morning near LAX (above) and a ghostly pier at Huntington Beach (bottom) - from Jack Hales web cam wall.
Continued dry here for coming week - with afternoon breezy winds next couple of days. The GPS PW time series from campus (above at top) shows the crash in moisture back on the 23rd. Below is 00 UTC WRF-GFS forecast (on 5.4 km grid) of total precipitation for the West through 5:00 pm MST on November 5th - weather action mostly over mountains of the Northwest on in to the Rockies and dismal dry over Southwest.
