I am beginning again to monitor the RRS Sippican sounding data, as I start preparing a formal paper. This paper will document the often poor, and physically bizarre, soundings produced by the Sippican radiosondes the NWS has switched to at most sites in the US.
Today's winning example of a strange sounding is that taken at Ft. Worth TX at 1200 UTC.
