Obviously the westerlies have had a negative impact on the monsoon and only question is when will the moisture return. The models this morning show an upper level low dropping off the west coast…quite unusual for this time of year. Synoptic systems tend to pull mid level moisture back quicker…possibly late Friday we can have enough moisture for high based storms. Low level moisture…a Saturday/Sunday morning surge is possible. Hot ‘til then.
