Tropical Depression Two-E Develops


The NHC indicated this morning (above) that there was high likelihood that tropical system would develop today or tomorrow. This afternoon (Monday, June 2nd) they have begun making forecasts for TD-Two-E - 1st forecast is shown below. The NHC forecast indicates that this system will soon become Tropical Storm Boris and eventually move ashore into far southern Mexico.


Meanwhile, it is deathly clear and hot over the Southwest and northern Mexico, with just some scattered wisps of cirrus around (visible image below is from 2015 UTC, The NWS ASOS temperature at the Tucson airport (TUS) has jumped to 105 F at 2 pm MST this afternoon. Good time to stay somewhere cool, if you can.
