Very Warm Morning - Updated Monday May 7

High temperature at TUS reached 103 F yesterday - first day above 100 at airport this summer. However, continuing an unusual trend, DM was hotter than the airport. High yesterday at DM was reported at 106 F and high there on Saturday was 100 F.

East winds kept low temperatures about 10 F warmer than yesterday, It was 74 F here at house when I returned from my morning walk.

The winds at Mt. Hopkins forecast previous post did not verify - apparently winds to 700 mb were lighter than in the model forecast - max was 46 mph around midnight Friday night.

Coming week will be hot with little change day-to-day. Morning forecast from NWS below is for the airport -ugh.
