View of Catalinas at 5:45 am this morning shows some build ups on northwest side of the mountain - this is where two ALERT sites reported 0.04" (the only reports across the entire network). Plot of detected CG flashes (from Atmo and Vaisala - below) for 24 hours ending at 0733 UTC this morning shows no flashes in Pima County. Note that yesterday's WRF forecast verified quite well - see previous post.
The morning TWC/TUS sounding (from SPC above) is most notable for its lack of CAPE.
Seven day forecast from the NWS Forecast Office (above) indicates chances for rainfall at the airport each day of the coming week.
In contrast the WRF-GFS forecast from 06 UTC (below, from Atmo) indicates almost no precipitation across most of Arizona through midnight tonight.
