Brief October Summary

Another morning here in Tucson that is about as good as it gets. Low temperatures here at the house for last three mornings have been: 37, 36, and 37 F. Rainfall here was 2.44", which is the second wettest October since I started keeping my records over 15 years ago.

The graphics below show October precipitation from the five sectors of the Pima County Regional Flood Control District ALERT network. Rainfall amounts ranged from 6.85" at the Mt. Lemmon site to only 0.67 at the Empire Peak station.

Rainfall at the NWS airport ASOS station was 2.25 ", which is 8th wettest in the period of record. The NWS summary for October is shown in the graphic at the bottom.

All in all an unusually wet month for most of eastern Pima County.
