High overcast and dreary skies across our area at 7:00 am MST this morning.
GEFS plumes for QPF at airport (above) all forecast measurable rainfall tomorrow into Friday the 8th. The T plumes (below) indicate much cooler temperatures tomorrow and Friday.
The 500 mb forecast (above) is from the 06 UTC GFS and is valid at 00 UTC on the eighth (5 pm MST tomorrow). Forecast for total precipitation (below) is valid for period ending 7 am on Friday morning. Light precipitation is indicated for eastern Pima County, but with heavier amounts over the Catalinas.
Current NWS Forecast Office TUS morning forecast for the airport is at bottom, indicating only 50% POPs for measurable rain tomorrow.
