Another Quick Hitting Event In Tucson Area
Photo of snow on Catalinas this morning at about 10 am MST. Several bands of showers moved across the Tucson area between about 7:30 and 9:30 am. Here at house we had 0.33" of rain and a chilly low of 38F.
Yesterday's early WRF was a bit too fast, but still a pretty good forecast. Areal coverage was again about 100% with all ALERT sites reporting precipitation, but amounts were actually a bit lower today in many spots than they were on early Saturday morning. Looks like tomorrow morning will be quite cold and possibly below freezing here in north part of city. Another event may get its act together by the weekend.
