Have had a couple of cold, below freezing, mornings here at the house. Low temp yesterday was 29F and this morning's low was 28F. This morning there is some frost visible on a neighbor's metal roof - see photo above from 8 am MST. There is also snow lingering from the two snows that have occurred so far on Mt. Lemmon - first on Saturday morning the 5th and second on Monday morning the 7th. Below is current view from a webcam on Mt. Lemmon, near Summerhaven.

Wow...today was my 2nd low of this cool season <32F, at 29F. Though I am sure we have been much cooler than you day and night, for the most part! Great pic from Mt Lemmon, too!

Desert Dweller - where exactly do you dwell?

David C. reports: I live in Albuquerque NM, in the Sandia foothills at 5700', so I run 12F or a little more cooler than Tucson most of the time.

I really enjoy reading this blog. Can you discuss the huge front currently approaching the west coast of Alaska?

See Cliff Mass blog for discussion of the superstorm in the Bering Sea.
