TD Seven E Forms Off Southern Coast Of Mexico
Edited 8 am Wednesday - now Tropical Storm Greg.
Visible satellite image above is of TD Seven E off of southern Mexico this afternoon - Tuesday 16 August.
The NHC forecasts this depression to eventually become a hurricane and track to the west-northwest. The initial forecast is shown above. The storm is forecast to pass close to the region where storms trigger deep surges of moisture northward - so we need to keep a watch on how this system evolves. Right now, of course, it's so moist in southeast Arizona that I can hardly imagine more PW coming in.
