Sometimes I work up a spoof-post for this day - but this year, and the political debacles we are witnessing, surpasses my ability to spoof any of it. We seem, to much of the world, to be a country of fools and so no special day is needed. Who could ever have guessed that the Simpsons would prove to be so prescient back in 2000?
