We've had a strong outflow from the SSW this afternoon, but gusts at airport ASOS are all stuck at 38 mph for the last hour. Similar story for two days ago, except no outflow and light winds with gusts to 38 mph. Assume that these observations are going into archives as valid observations. Very strange!
