Bit Of Weather And Couple Of Bird Photos

Yesterday remained cloudy with heavy, high overcast through the day, as the east winds gradually relaxed. Today and tomorrow will see a return of gusty south-southwest winds. That's about it on the weather front. See NWS weather story below.

Since spring is here, I am now fighting my annual battle to keep doves from nesting in the garage door opener and under the front porch roof. Currently using boxes and rubber snakes on the front porch - obviously the two doves above, nesting on one of the snakes, are on to my strategy.

When I walked this morning, there was a bright Northern Cardinal perched on some wires and he posed nicely for a quick photo.
