Severe Thunderstorms And Tree Damage

As the core of the severe thunderstorm season approaches, I thought I would highlight a paper that addresses problems related to estimating wind speeds based on tree damage. This paper appeared early last Winter in the Electronic Journal of Severe Storm Meteorology, and is available at the following link:
