There were several periods of sprinkles here yesterday, but showers that produced measurable rain occurred around 10:00 pm MST. Ended up with an additional 0.04" here. Very humid this morning, but WRF models forecast a very significant dry-out beginning late today and continuing through next several days. Enough moisture lingering in current westerly flow regime for perhaps a few showers later today.
Plot below is from potion of ALERT network for 24-hours ending at 7:30 am this morning. Light amounts recorded over most of this portion of network. There is a puzzle though - the heavy amounts up at high elevations of the Catalinas - reaching over two inches at Mt. Lemmon site. These would seem suspect but timing of heavier amounts is consistent and also the RAWS Sollers site had 0.65", with similar timing. Radar loops show no strong echoes during the period of heavier rainfall up there - so apparently localized, heavy warm rains fell during the night at high elevations.
