Shallow Cb Over Catalina

It did dry out as per WRF forecasts today, but there was one buildup over the Catalinas around 2:00 pm MST. Above is visible satellite image and below is photo Katie took from campus about the same time. A nice buildup, often referred to by storm chasers as a "turkey tower" because of its skinny neck and head above, with a bit of snow falling out of it. There was a more classic Cb at dusk off to the east but I wasn't able to get a decent photo. Hopefully more tomorrow.
