Photos from 2019 included: Light snowfall on February 22nd; sunrise colors on June 30th at top below; and heavy thunderstorms on July 13th bottom.
Rainfall here for the year totaled 14.48" (note - average here since 2000 is 11.61"). My records here began in July 1999.
Measurable rain occurred here on 56 days of the year. Days with 0.50" or more occurred 9 times; with 0.75" or more 5 times; and there was only one day with more than an inch (November 19th).
October tied with 2 other years by having no measurable precipitation. February and November were the wettest in my period of record.
There were 37 days here with a morning low of 32 F or colder. The two coldest mornings had lows of 22 F (January 3rd and February 12th). Because of thermometer shielding problems, I only record morning low temperatures.
I noted thunderstorms on 19 days. However, this is likely an under-count because of my hearing problems, and days when I was away. There were no severe thunderstorms here at house during the year (a severe thunderstorm is one which produces hail of 1" or greater diameter; and/or wind gusts of 58 mph or stronger; and/or a tornado).
