Bit of sunrise color over the Catalinas this morning. Forecasts still continue to indicate that if winter is coming, it will not be until toward the end of the month.
Down at bottom - some Holiday color still powered up in Whitefish, Montana (bit north of Kalispell), and folks lined up waiting for Old Faithful on Sunday morning the 3rd.
Forecast above (from 06 UTC GEFS) shows plumes for QPF at the airport continue to be flat-lined. Those for PW (below) plunge from around half an inch this morning to very low values for rest of week (PW in this morning's sounding came in at 0.45 inches). Second below is from 00 UTC GFS and shows precipitation forecast through midnight on January 19th. So, basically our fair and dry Chamber of Commerce weather remains dominant.
