Severe storms and tornadoes struck many places in the central US yesterday, with Arkansas being particularly hard hit. Severe storms are active again today (Monday, April 28th) a bit further to the east.
Above image is from the NWS Brandon-Jackson, Mississippi, Doppler radar. There are numerous supercells occurring at this time across northeastern Louisiana and northern Mississippi. Severeal of these have produced tornadoes. There appear to be at least 5 supercells moving across northeastern Mississippi, with another 3 or 4 over northeastern Louisiana.
