Water vapor image above shows that closed low has moved east and northward as forecast by models. Composite radar below from NWS at about 6:00 am. Storms and showers moving across metro area as forecast by past several runs of WRF model at Atmo.
Detected CG flashes (above for 24-hours ending at 7:23 am - from Atmo and Vaisala). Plot indicates that flashes occurred during the three hours leading up to time of image (time line for hours before present at left). Plot of 24-hour precipitation below (from MesoWest) ends at same time as above. Rain amounts generally less than a tenth of an inch. Only 0.01" here at house, but first rain since September 26th.
