Interesting Statement From NWS

The following statement is from a TUS short-term forecast this afternoon:

MOST OF SOUTHEAST ARIZONA HAS RECEIVED
SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS SO NORMALLY DRY
WASHES AND STREAMS WILL BE FLOWING....
I have been following the precip reports, even while on road trip, and this statement may be somewhat true for Cochise County and quite accurate for Greenlee County, but for the rest of southeast Arizona it is mostly a work of fiction.

View of Catalinas above shows that this evening is ending much like day began - lots of cloudiness but only isolated storms around southeast Arizona.
