Three hurricanes in the Atlantic this morning - have no idea when this might have happened last. The track forecast from NHC this morning continues to take Irma into Florida Straits with an abrupt right turn into Florida.
Situation here in southeast Arizona remains rather miserable, with dry easterlies still present in this morning's TWC sounding (above) and PW a bit less than an inch. The forecast below (from 06 UTC WRF-GFS) indicates little precipitation through midnight tonight, with most storm activity off to our west and northwest. Some activity possible at high elevations. Models do bring the moist air back eastward beginning tonight into tomorrow - perhaps a bit of hope.
