There is a weak, 500 mb cyclone located east of Tucson this morning and there are deep clouds (as per satellite vis image above from 7:30 am MST) across much of southeastern Arizona. There are some showers and thunderstorms associated with this feature in parts of the metro area, as per radar composite image from just before 8 am this morning (below).
