The forecast from the GEFS indicates a significant ridge and anticyclone centered over the Great Basin for second half of the week - above is ensemble average forecast for 500 mb valid 5:00 pm MST on Friday, June 3rd. This leads to the NWS forecast for the airport grid high temperatures - see below.
