Cold and very clear morning here in Tucson. in contrast to snowstorm bottom at Niagara Falls.
Temperatures at about 7:30 am MST this morning - above for southeast Arizona and below for metro area. Some temperatures in teens along the San Pedro, with 20s to 40s F across metro. Low here this morning was 24 F.
Models continue to forecast a wet Christmas here, as strong trough at 500 mb swings through the Southwest (above, valid at noon on Christmas Eve). Below is forecast of precipitation for 48-hours ending at midnight on Christmas Day (both from 00 UTC GFS runs).
