Views of Catalinas above and at bottom east from Sahaurita, both at a bit before 7:30 am MST this morning.
Model forecasts (these from the 06 UTC WRF-GFS run at Atmo) continue to indicate some gusty winds (above for Thursday afternoon) and widespread precipitation across our area (below - through 11:00 pm Friday night)). Amounts are fairly light, except to our north, where some spots are forecast to have around an inch. Will be nice to get a bit of rain in the gauge after such a long dry period.
Current NWS forecast for the airport below. Cold temperatures on Friday and Saturday mornings will likely bring freezing temperatures to cold-prone spots across the metro area.
