Quick look at the new upper-air data and latest radar indicate a stormy night for northern Pennsylvania and southern New England. Very strong low-level warm advection occurring and upstream airmass increasingly unstable. Latest radar and Pittsburgh sounding shown above. The sounding appears to not be unstable enough to support a nocturnal derecho, but situation bears watching!
