Drier Air Makes It Into Tucson

This afternoon, after around 2 pm MST, drier air from the west advanced into the Tucson area. Above graphic is the time series of T and Td for TUS, ending at 2:53 pm this afternoon. The 4:30 pm MST surface plot (below) shows Td values of 50F or lower over all but the far southeast corner of Arizona. The bottom time series is of GPS PW at U of A - values have dropped to just above an inch now. The next feature of interest is TS Fabio, which still seems to be associated with high PW values that are present both sides of Baja and that appear to be pushing into the northern third of the GoC.
