Deep Moist Convection Continues Over North-Central Mexico


Thunderstorm activity has continued the last several days over north-central Mexico near and east of the Continental Divide. The IR satellite image above is from 2130 UTC yesterday (3 June 2004) afternoon. The Mexican convection stretches from around 20 degrees north up to southern New Mexico.
 Image below shows the Continental Divide (in red) location over the southwest U.S. and Mexico.
