Down Day Yesterday

Hazy skies this morning with some cumulus hugging the Catalinas.

Yesterday was basically a down day as expected - see previous post. The scattered, light precipitation reports for the 24 hours ending at 7:00 am MST this morning (above) were during the early morning as the band of showers moved eastward out of our area. The plot of detected CG flashes (from Atmo and Vaisala below) shows southeastern Arizona was essentially thunderstorm free yesterday.

ALERT precipitation for August - above and below - shows what a very wet month it was. Couple of sites may be suspect. Amounts ranged from 20.31" to 1.40". Here at house total for month was 3.97".
