Fair And Mild Weather Returns

Early morning lights - above from Flagstaff and bottom from Silver City, New Mexico.

Precipitation amounts from MesoWest for 24-hours ending at 7:00 am this morning (south Arizona above and north below). Note that there was some snow at higher elevations, so these amounts don't include that. The event covered almost all of the state, and the Phoenix area got considerably more rainfall than did Tucson metro. Largest amount I could find was 0.96" at Goodyear - along I-10 out on west side of Phoenix. Here at house we ended up with 0.26" - after some light, midday showers.

We will now return to a long period of dry and mild weather - as per 06 UTC plumes for QPF at the airport (above), and the current NWS forecast for the airport (below) - highs approaching 70 and lows in the 30s F. Low here this morning has been 38 F.
