View looking toward east end Catalinas at 5:40 am MST this morning.
Plot of detected CG flashes (below - from Atmo and Vaisala for 24-hours ending at 0703 UTC 8 August) shows almost no thunderstorm activity over eastern Pima County, except for over Catalinas and Redington Pass area.
ALERT network (for 24-hours ending at 6:30 am this morning - above and below) shows light rainfall amounts over Catalinas and over southern portions of the network. Another day here at the house with no rainfall.
Current morning forecast from the TUS NWS office (above) indicates 40 to 50 percent POPs for the airport today and tomorrow. The 06 UTC WRF-GFS forecast from Atmo (below - valid through midnight tonight) indicates a wet day for most of eastern Pima County.
