Mostly fair skies this morning at 7:50 am MST, but with some low cumulus over the Catalinas. There were showers around yesterday with most activity over and near the mountains. Heaviest rains occurred around Mt. Lemmon. Image at bottom shows shower over northeast foothills at 6:20 pm yesterday.
We're now heading into a few days of warmer and drier weather, after a very wet 10 days. Plumes from 06 UTC GEFS runs for the airport show: above - temperature inching up through coming week and approaching 100 F again; PW (below) plunges well below an inch by Saturday and then inches back up to values that average only a bit over an inch.
Second graphic below shows forecast (from the 12 UTC WRF-RR run) for total precipitation through 5:00 am Sunday morning - enjoy the change!
